PDF Merge & Split
Combine PDFs in any order, or pull out just the pages you need. Everything runs in this tab, so contracts, statements and medical forms are never uploaded anywhere.
Drag the handle or use the arrows to set the order. Leave “pages” empty to include the whole file, or type ranges like 1-3, 7.
How it works
The PDFs are opened by pdf-lib, an open-source library that runs inside your browser. Pages are copied into a new document exactly as they are — text stays selectable and images keep their original quality — and the result is saved straight to your downloads. No file is sent to a server, and there’s no watermark or page limit.
In Merge mode you can include just some pages from each file: type 1-3, 7 next to a file to use only those. In Split / extract mode, ranges can go backwards (5-1 reverses pages) and 8- or 8-end runs to the last page.
Limits
Password-protected PDFs can’t be opened until the password is removed. Bookmarks (the outline panel) and interactive form fields may not carry over to the new file. Very large files (hundreds of MB) are limited by your device’s memory.
Questions
Is it safe to merge confidential PDFs here?
Yes. The files are read and combined in this browser tab; nothing is uploaded, stored or logged. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
How do I extract a few pages from a PDF?
Switch to “Split / extract”, choose the file, type the pages (for example 2, 5-7) and keep “One PDF”. You’ll get a new PDF with just those pages.
How do I split a PDF into single pages?
In “Split / extract”, leave the pages box empty and choose “Every page separately”. Each page becomes its own PDF, delivered together in a ZIP file.
Why can’t it open my PDF?
Most often the PDF is encrypted, even if it opens without a password (some are locked against editing). Open it in a PDF viewer and print it to a new PDF, then add that copy.
Does merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so text, vector graphics and images are unchanged.
